DATES AND INFORMATION FOR PARENTS AND CARERS OF YEAR 6 STUDENTS
Wednesday 1st July 5:30pm: Parents/Carers Information Evening in the Main Hall.
Due to capacity in the Main Hall, Year 6 students are not required to attend. We do understand that in some circumstances this cannot be avoided.
Thursday 2nd July 8:25 am- 2:30pm: Year 6 Transition Day
Year 6 students should arrive at school by 8:25am and gather on the main yard. Staff will be positioned at the school gate to welcome students and guide them to the correct area. Students should come wearing their primary school uniforms.
Lunch will be provided; however, students may bring a packed lunch if they prefer. Please ensure the school has been informed of any dietary requirements in advance.
Students will be dismissed from the school site at 2:30pm.
Parents and carers are not permitted to enter the school premises when dropping off their children. Students should enter through the pedestrian gate and should also be collected from this point at the end of the day. We kindly ask that you park considerately and remain mindful of residents when arriving in the area
SEN Support
Additional visits to the school will be arranged through our SEN team with the primary school. You will be made aware of these visits if they impact upon your child. Should you need to contact the SENCO, please email the Achievement Centre
Enrolment- Data Collection
It is essential that we have all the necessary information about your child to complete their enrolment and ensure a smooth transition into the school. Please make sure you fill in the enrolment form using the link provided below.

Uniform PopUpshop!
Our uniform supplier Michael Seghal will have a uniform shop at The Sjøvoll Centre on Tuesday 2nd June 3:45 pm-5:45 pm. Parents/carers of new starters are strongly encouraged to book a slot at our PopUpshop for a one-to-one uniform fitting. Uniforms are available to try, buy and take away on the night!
Free School Meals Students
Students who are entitled to free school meals are entitled to a school blazer and a pullover jumper. If you think this applies to you, please contact us at: enquires@framdurham.com
All parents will need to reapply for FSM for September.
September 2026 Start Date
Year 7 students will begin school after the summer break on Thursday 3rd September. Students should gather on the main yard at 8:25am. All other year groups will return to school on Friday 4th September.
Please remember that parents and carers are not permitted to drop off or collect students on the school site. Students must enter through the pedestrian gates.

Year 6 parents/carers are invited to tour the school on Monday 21st September between 5.00pm and 7.00pm.
