Once again, our Year 13 students have achieved an excellent set of exam results. Last year our results placed us top of the DfE performance tables in County Durham for A Level progress, and this year our results are stronger again with a 100% pass rate, and 30% of entries graded A* or A. The average A Level grade was a B- for A Level. Our BTEC students performed equally well, with an average grade of Distinction-. These results reflect the hard work of both the staff and students at the school but also the work of staff at Primary school and at Key Stage 3 and 4 who have supported the students throughout their school life. Our students are now going on to study a huge range of courses including computer science, maths, history, architecture, and civil engineering, at universities across the UK from Durham to St. Andrews, Leeds and Manchester.
